Customer Download Center
  • Is there a single file to download the entire NetZoom Visio Stencils library?
    • There is no single file to download the entire NetZoom Visio Stencils library. But your subscription allows you to download the product lines that you need. You may add up to 2 product lines at a time to your basket for download. To download more than 2 product lines, you will have to download in batches of 2 product lines each time. Alternately, you may install NetZoom for complete access to the Cloud Library Service.

  • What is the Shape Preview and how is that different from the Customer Download?

    • The Shape Preview is only a listing of the various equipment and manufacturers available in the NetZoom Visio Stencils Library. The Customer Download allows you to download the equipment stencils for various product lines for various manufacturers. To access Customer Download, you must purchase a subscription to the NetZoom Visio Stencils Library.

  • How many product lines can I download at a time?
    • You may add up to 2 product lines at a time to your basket. To download more than 2 product lines, you will have to download in batches of 2 product lines each time.

  • When downloading stencils, how can I choose where to save my stencils?
    • When downloading a single product line, you will be prompted to “Open” or “Save” the downloaded file.
      Select “Save” and choose the folder path to save your file. When downloading multiple product lines, you will be prompted by the Java Applet to choose a folder path to save your stencil files.

  • Can I use NetZoom Visio Stencils with Word, Excel, or PowerPoint?
    • Although NetZoom Visio Stencils are supported solely for Microsoft Visio, you may still use your stencils with Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint.

  • I have a NetZoom Visio stencils subscription that has expired. But my hard drive crashed. Is there a way to retrieve the NetZoom Visio Stencils I had previously downloaded?
    • Unfortunately, we do not have a way of recovering your downloaded shapes from your machine or provide you access to those shapes. However, users with valid subscription numbers can re-download the same shapes and stencils again from the Customer Download Center.

      We recommend that you always keep a current subscription; this will allow you to download the latest NetZoom Visio Stencils at any time. We also recommend that you keep a record of the product lines that you download, in case of such unfortunate circumstances.

      You will need to purchase a new subscription if your subscription has expired, to retrieve the stencils from the NetZoom Visio Stencils library.

  • What does "Free Updates" mean?
    • As long as your subscription is valid, you may download updated stencils from the NetZoom Visio Stencils library at any time for no additional charge.

Requesting Additional Shapes/Shape Corrections
  • How can I request a new shape or report a correction?
    • If you do not find the equipment you are looking for, you can request a new shape for development. Click here to request your shape. Enter you information along with information about the shape(s) you need. Once your shape is developed, we will notify you via e-mail, and you can download the shape from the NetZoom Visio Stencils library on our website.

      To report a shape for correction, simply fill out the contact form with your information and details of the shape that you wish to report or e-mail this information to Support@VisioStencils.com . Once the shape is fixed, you will be notified via e-mail. You can download the shape again from the NetZoom Visio Stencils library on our website.

Subscription and Licensing
  • My subscription recently expired. Is there a renewal price?
    • No, there is a single price for a Visio Stencils subscription.

  • I just purchased a subscription. How do I download NetZoom Visio Stencils?
    • Click here and enter your information along with a valid subscription number.
    • Click Continue
    • Browse through the entire library alphabetically, by keyword, or by manufacturer criteria.
    • Find and select the desired product line(s) for the respective manufacturer(s).
    • Add your product lines to the basket (up to 2 at a time) by clicking Add to Basket.
    • Click View Basket to view the basket before downloading.
    • Once you are done, click Download.
    • Choose where you wish to save the stencils and click OK.
  • How do I know when my subscription expires?
    • To check the expiration date for your subscription. Click here and enter your subscription number. Click the Check Expiration button. You expiration date will be displayed in the pop-up message.

  • Can I use NetZoom Visio Stencils on more than one computer?
    • A single license allows you to download and use NetZoom Visio Stencils on up to two computers if you are the sole user of the shapes and stencils on those computers. To use NetZoom Visio Stencils on additional computers, you must purchase additional licenses.

  • Is the product price a one-time fee?
    • NetZoom Visio Stencils is a 12 month subscription for continual access. However, once the subscription expires, you must purchase another subscription.

  • How long does my subscription last?
    • All subscriptions are valid for 12 months. They will expire 12 months from the date of purchase.

  • My subscription just expired. Can I still access and use NetZoom Visio Stencils?
    • If your subscription has expired, you will not be able to access the NetZoom Visio Stencils Library through our website; however, you may continue to access shapes and stencils that are currently in your Visio diagrams. The stencils on your computer must be destroyed according to the End User License Agreement (EULA).

      We recommend that you purchase a concurrent subscription for uninterrupted access to exclusive subscriber services such as free library updates, free shape requests, and free technical support.

  • Can I distribute NetZoom Visio Stencils to my customers or co-workers?
    • No. Since NetZoom Visio Stencil Subscription is a single-user license, each user must have their own NetZoom Visio Stencils subscription to use the stencils in their own drawings or diagrams.

      NetZoom Visio stencils and shapes must not be extracted from diagrams, shared, copied, modified, distributed, or sold for commercial purposes. Please read the NetZoom Visio Stencils End-User License Agreement for more information.

  • I just purchased NetZoom Visio Stencils subscription, but I do not seem to have my subscription number?
    • Shortly after you purchase a NetZoom Visio Stencils subscription, you should receive an e-mail with your subscription number.

      To ensure that you receive our e-mails, please add Support@VisioStencils.com, Sales@VisioStencils.com and Info@VisioStencils.com to your list of trusted e-mail addresses.

      If you have not yet received this e-mail, please check your SPAM folder to ensure that the email was not filtered.

      If you still cannot find your subscription number, contact us at Support@VisioStencils.com or 630.281.6464 Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Central Standard Time. You will need to provide your information (company name, purchase date, who purchased it, etc.) so we can validate your information and retrieve the subscription number we have on file for you.

  • Can I return my subscription?
    • Once a subscription has been purchased, you may not return the subscription. There are no returns, exchanges, or refunds for NetZoom Visio Stencils.

System Requirements for NetZoom Visio Stencils
  • What are the system requirements for NetZoom Visio Stencils and what version of Microsoft Visio is required?

    • There are no special system requirements for NetZoom Visio Stencils. As long as you have a version of Microsoft Visio (2016, 2013, 2010, 2007 or 2003) installed on your Windows machine, you can use NetZoom Visio Stencils.
